TAP offers a range of skills based qualifications, short courses and workshops to meet the skills needs of subject matter experts. It also provides a Partner status to best practice standards and a three step programme to quality assure L&D in organisations.
Winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2005 and 2016 for ‘innovation in the quality assurance of learning and development’ TTF has 1,400 organisations employing more than 28,000 TAP-certified L&D professionals in over 30 countries.
Nick Mitchell, director of the Training Foundation, comments: “TAP will complement and extend QA’s current service offering to provide an enhanced portfolio of training products to both TTF’s and QA’s clients. QA has a history of successful acquisitions, so we feel that we are in extremely capable hands.”
William Macpherson, CEO at QA states: “The acquisition of TTF provides an opportunity for QA to widen its offering of leadership and management products into the L&D community. TAP will enable QA to serve and support L&D departments in management, consultancy, facilitation, programme design, e-learning and technical learning delivery methods.”
