If you are looking for inspiration for your entry, each month TJ will be featuring winners from 2014. Last month Dave Buglass, winner of L&D Professional of the Year was our ‘Spotlight’ interviewee and this month St Monica Trust and Vinci Construction with Blue Sky Performance Improvement feature on p16 and p18 respectively.

If you would like some inspiration on how to get started on your submission you may find our new workshop useful. Entitled Award entry writing – active learning and led by Chris Robinson, MD of an awards writing agency that has written over 20 winning TJ Awards entries, these short sessions aim to provide a summary of the awards, some essential tips and a chance test your story with your peers. These are being held in London on 22nd April, 13th May and 10th June. You can register online at www.trainingjournal.com/events or email awards@trainingjournal.com for more information.

This month we are also delighted to welcome two new award sponsors: the CIPD and Consalia. They join DPG, our headline sponsors, in confirming their commitment to supporting the very best practice in the field of learning and development.

Phil Squire, CEO at Consalia says: “Consalia is delighted to come onboard as one of the Training Journal Award sponsors in support of the ‘Best Sales’ category. It fits perfectly with the different initiatives we are undertaking to help ‘professionalise’ sales in the UK and beyond and I hope this is just the start of long term, mutually beneficial relationship where we can work closely to offer readers insights into new thinking and research in sales training effectiveness.”
