The TJ Awards 2019 announce their winners at historic London venue

Public Sector and charities hold their own as the TJ Awards winners for 2019 are revealed.

This year’s TJ Awards’ winners come from a broad range of organisations and sectors but despite strong competition from larger organisations nearly half of the 13 winners came from the hard-pressed public sector and not-for-profits showing their innovation and commitment to their profession and organisations.

Earlier this week the TJ Awards returned to the Pavilion at the Tower of London to hold their Gala Dinner. The evening was hosted by sports broadcaster Jacqui Oatley who kept the excited audience of 450 finalists, sponsors and guests entertained as the winners were announced during the course of the evening.

The ceremony went off without a hitch and it is clear from the photography and social media activity that it was an evening of real celebration for the people professionals who attended not just the lucky winners.

Commenting on the evening and the awards programme TJ’s editor-in-chief Debbie Carter said: “We’ve had another great finale to this year’s awards programme. The evening has been a big hit and I must thank all those who made the evening such a memorable occasion: our events team have managed the whole process from our launch in the spring through to organising this evening’s celebrations; the sponsors whose generosity enables us to host the ceremony in such a fine location and finally our finalists whose hardwork and innovation will inspire us for another year.”

The gold winners for 2019 are: Mindful Education (Best Use of Technology in Learning), Fairhealth (Best Diversity & Inclusion Programme),  Ibstock Brick (Best Apprenticeship Programme), PwC Ireland (Best Talent Development Programme), Bespoke Training & Development (Best Training Partnership), Locala Community Partnerships CIC  (Best Coaching/Mentoring Programme), National Autistic Society (Best Public Service/ Not-for-Profit Programme), Sainsbury’s & t-three (Best Leadership Development Programme), Spirax-Sarco Engineering and Interactive Workshops (Best Private/Commercial Programme), Elior (Best Customer Experience Programme), AIG (L&D Team of the Year) and Robert Stewart, Scottish Social Services Council (L&D Professional of the Year).
