Presenter and actor, Denise van Outen is the host for the TJ Awards 2015 Gala Dinner, which will be taking place tomorrow, Wednesday, 25th November at The Brewery, London.
Van Outen became a household name in the UK for her stint at The Big Breakfast, along with co-host Johnny Vaughan. Her career in West End musicals, includes playing Roxie Hart in Chicago both in the West End and on Broadway.
TJ’s editor, Debbie Carter said: “We are delighted to have Denise van Outen hosting the awards this year, with her engaging style and professionalism she will ensure the proceedings have just the right level of pizzazz. Our Gala Dinner is always a buzz of excitement and emotion as our finalists gather to hear the results of the competition and the presence of our celebrated host will add to that atmosphere.
“Our original host, Nick Hewer had to withdraw at short notice so we are even more delighted to have such a sparkling, personality to take care of the proceedings.”
The TJ Awards are now in their 10th year and are recognised for their rigour and integrity. This year’s finalists will gather as part of an audience of industry professionals to recognise the best in learning, training and development. This, the finale of this year’s TJ Awards, is a special black-tie affair in the heart of the City of London in The Brewery’s historic Porter Tun. Here, the 16 category winners will be announced with gold, silver and bronze accolades being announced in each category. In addition there will be a TJ Special Achievement award presented this year – to mark a special contribution to the world of learning and development.
The party continues after the announcements with networking and partying into the small hours of the morning. For those with the energy and enthusiasm, a networking lunch will be held the following day for those guests who want to network and learn before returning home.
