how we conduct our lives in terms of unhealthy levels of stress caused by an inability to switch off and unplug from our working lives. It is now clear that those leaders who want to survive and thrive in such an operating environ- ment need to understand and develop a resilient mindset that includes mental and physical disciplines including reg- ular exercise, mindful acceptance-based practices and digital detoxes.

Te illusion of urgency that increased digital interconnectedness of smart technology places on our lives is manifesting itself in increasing levels of anxiety and depression in the workforce.
