Servant leadership - quotes and thoughts
According to the Greenleaf Centre for Servent-Leadership UK, “it was Robert Greenleaf who perhaps gave us the clearest definition of the servant-leader when he wrote: ‘The servant leader is servant first. It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead’."
I really like the idea, and wish I saw more practice around, genuine servant leadership. From my recent research on and around this enigmatic topic, I offer these thoughts…
