New ILX training courses to boost change and project management skills

A range of new courses for individuals and organisations looking to boost their change management and project management skills have been launched by ILX, the global Best Practice learning company.

The ILX courses include APMG-International Change Management TM Foundation, APMG-International Change Management TM Foundation & Practitioner, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®, and Project Management Professional (PMP)®.

The Change Management Certification has been developed by APMG in partnership with the Change Management Institute (CMI). Together they have developed a professional ‘body of knowledge’ for the discipline of change management which now provides an independent benchmark for the professional knowledge expected of an effective change manager.

For businesses, the qualifications will help to minimise risks such as overspend, delays and loss of employee engagement and to determine a successful business transformation. For individuals, the courses will provide a solid complement to process driven-methods like PRINCE2® and MSP ® to help assess and manage change effectively.

ILX Managing Director, Russell Kenrick said: “In regulated industries where standard operating procedures proliferate, they will already comply with documented standards which may appear to offer comparable controls.

However, when there is a major change management initiative or a new project it is likely to cause disruption to normal operations.  Skilled staff will help to limit possible risks and determine a more carefully managed outcome. In fact, any organisation, in any sector can tap into this body of Best Practice resources.

Projects of all sizes and all types share many similar characteristics and Best Practice has something for everyone – and our courses are specifically designed to meet the needs of busy organisations and individuals.”
