The TJ Awards held its fourth annual Gala Dinner at the Brewery last night when this year’s winners were announced. The event was hosted by presenter and actor, Denise van Outen and the venue was buzzing with excitement and anticipation as around 550 sponsors, guests and finalists gathered to celebrate best practice in learning and development and to recognise the very best in the field.
Over the course of the evening, 17 trophies were presented by guests and sponsors, led by headline sponsors DPG, whose commercial director Robert Wagner presented th e awards for L&D team of the year and the new Special Achievement award. He said: “We are delighted to sponsor the TJ Awards again this year and to be part of this great celebration of all that is the very best in L&D today. Our congratulations go to all the winners here tonight and who make such an immense contributions to their organisations.”
BaxterStorey, Tao Leadership and Caroline Gilroy Associates who walked away with two golds and a silver award, while Learningzone, Bank of Ireland with Accenture picked up a gold and silver.
Other sponsors, included: Accredited Skills, Blue Sky Performance Improvement, Boost Marketing, the CIPD, Consalia, CPD, Dods Training and NCFE – without their support the celebrations would have much less enjoyable. The evening ended in the small hours with partying at a nearby club.
