Advanced First Aid, Sea Survival, Working at Heights and Hub Rescue are just a few of the many fundamental modules included within the course, which offers both theoretical and practical skillsets to the delegates through hands-on experience and observational learning.

The final qualification delivers relevant certification, key skills and a knowledge required for employment in the industry, alongside useful employability skills with dedicated employer engagement opportunities.

Jennifer Murley was just 20 years old when she decided to enrol on a 12 week course at Maersk Training, she said: “My two absolute favourite things about the course had to be Working at Height and Sea Survival, which is odd as they were two of my biggest fears. The instructors were always diligent about safety, and very patient with all of us shaky newcomers.

“Thanks to the astounding help of Maersk Training’s career advisor, I soon came to realise that I wanted to head towards Health and Safety. Maersk guided me in tailoring a CV that highlighted my strongest qualities, and after completing a NEBOSH course, I was accepted for an internship with a large renewable energy company, in their health and safety department!

“No matter what your background is, your level of experience or previous jobs, if you want to try and make a new career in renewable energy, or gain some impressive qualifications then I would definitely recommend Maersk Training.”
