Cutting edge communications technology has been combined with medieval architecture to produce a training venue that is “guaranteed to leave every delegate inspired”.
Colletta di Castelbianco is a 13th century hilltop village in north west Italy. Gradually abandoned by its original inhabitants, it was just a picturesque ruin by the mid-1990s. It has now been restored to its former glory by the architect Giancarlo di Carla, who has remained true to the aesthetics of the ancient stone arching staircases and vaulted ceilings while turning Colletta into Italy’s first internet village.
