There was a recent ‘furore’ on the TJ online digest, all initiated by a request for examples of how to split groups into subgroups. Yes, we are easily aroused on that forum!
This got me thinking about all the different ways we can undertake icebreakers with groups and how important it is to match the style and type of icebreaker to the culture and values of the group with whom you are working. The more options or choices you have, the better chance you have of selecting a suitable match. There are numerous sources on the internet for lists and descriptions of icebreakers, so above and beyond the web page presented here, Googling will extend your options still further.
