Headlines every day bring us stories that can threaten the normal flow of business in companies large and small. Most organisations are now aware of the need to have in place effective business continuity plans should the worst happen. Yet HR departments, and occupational health and health & safety teams, often pay scant attention to the psychological and emotional effects of disaster in their workplace.
