Marketing is everything that you do to communicate your business to your existing and potential customers.

As a freelance trainer or consultant, you will be marketing your business with every conversation you have, every networking event you attend, every presentation you make, every meeting you attend, every call you make and every email you send, as well as any advertising, promotions and PR you do. As an internal trainer, it will be much the same; you will just replace external promotions
with internal ones.

There are many different ways that you can market training; some methods work better than others. Whether they work depends on how exactly you go about it.
