David Kolb’s learning cycle and the work of Peter Honey and Alan Mumford on learning styles will be familiar to most Training Journal readers. Less so may be the work of Bernice McCarthy.
Working in education rather than the training world, McCarthy adapted Kolb’s work to produce a systematic method for instructional design that deserves to be better known among trainers.
