Recent surveys show us that the popularity of the internet as a recruitment tool for employers and candidates alike is on the rise. The annual CIPD survey on recruitment and retention has recorded year-on-year growth in this sector, and figures from the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB) indicate that one in four adults now use the internet for job-hunting.
