“Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.” Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.
Some teams run just like a happy family – everyone gets along, has fun and can communicate with ease. There may be the occasional healthy disagreement but it’s all dealt with amicably and constructively, and no one holds any grudges.
But, equally, some teams are broken. Just like an unhappy family, there may be squabbling, arguments, grudges and tears.
And, as the famous opening line from Anna Karenina suggests, there can be multiple reasons behind it and many ways in which
the problem can manifest itself.
