For some time I’ve been uncertain about the value of social networking but I remain open to persuasion. I was therefore interested in an aside that appeared in an article in a recent edition of The Economist. In discussing Bill Gates, it stated: “Mr Gates has been on LinkedIn since last year, and so far has made only five connections to other members.”
I can’t be sure of the provenance of their information but, if correct, one can’t help feeling a little sorry for the man. It must be like those dreadful moments at school when no-one wants to sit with you.
