Does coaching work? If popularity was an indicator of success,then coaching must be a sure-fire winner, because it has enjoyed exponential growth over recent years (see http://www.campaign-for-learning.org.uk/projects/coaching.htm). Yet no-one could seriously argue that popularity is a meaningful measure of value or effectiveness.
