Group Captain Dan Archer, the head of the RAF’s Review of Officer and Airmen Development Integrated Project Team (the ‘ROAD’ IPT project), has spent the majority of his career in the military.
He joined as a physical education graduate in 1979, and has completed active service in several locations including Northern Ireland and Cyprus. He himself underwent RAF Initial Officer Training, and was eventually put in charge of the Command Management and Leadership School for non-commissioned officers, which is where his training role with the RAF first began.
