What do we mean by success with evaluation? What do you or I mean by this? Chances are, we will have different definitions that change over time, and from situation to situation. It does seem likely, however, that there are some common definitions out there, covering the main perspectives and situations. We will start with these, before moving on to look in detail at ‘The 5½ steps to evaluation success’.
Success with evaluation does not mean that the training or learning activity being evaluated was itself necessarily a success. One reason you may be evaluating is precisely because the training was not a success.
