Training departments have to enable the effective and efficient execution of companywide training programmes without compromising an employee’s productivity. However, this can be very difficult due to three main issues: Firstly, budgetary constraints limit the training, and number, of staff; secondly, trainees are often unwilling to attend as it takes them away from their job, and, thirdly, staff are increasingly being based across different geographies and time zones.
