I recently chaired the eLearning Network’s conference on creating engaging and effective learning content. I knew it would be a superb opportunity for us all to learn from some of the brightest people in the e-learning industry and hatched a plan to wring as much wisdom as possible from the delegates in the time I had.
A month before the event, I created an online collaborative Mind Map called “How do we Create Engaging and Effective Learning Content?” Mind Maps are a non-linear, visual way of structuring thoughts and ideas that shows the relationship between concepts. A collaborative Mind Map is simply one that many people can work on at the same time. The fact that it is online means that links to other web resources and additional notes can be added too.
