This month, Digest members discussed what the best day of the week to run training courses on was, after Chris Pearse asked: “What in your opinion is the best day of the week in terms of delegate availability rather than receptivity – though they may be the same? Instinct tells me to avoid Mondays and Fridays, but is this necessarily right?”
Sally Winter agreed that his instincts were right: “I read some research from one of the webinar technology providers that said Thursdays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (in that order) were the best days to maximise attendance at online seminars. I expect the same would apply for face-to-face events and the rule seems to work for us.”
