Danah Zohar, management educator, physicist & author, can pinpoint several key moments in her life that led her on the path towards teaching Spiritual Intelligence. The first occurred when she was a child growing up in the American countryside and experienced the death of her beloved grandfather - who had effectively raised her - a traumatic event that led her to question what had until that point been strongly-held religious beliefs. 'I was raised by Methodist grandparents - real fire and brimstone Methodism - and in losing my grandfather, who was like a father to me, I lost the meaning of my life and lost the answers to all kinds of questions that children do ask, like, "why has he died?". It was a pivotal event,'says Zohar.
