Leadership in an environment in which decisions mean the difference between life and death – not just profit and loss – demands commitment to the whole community, responsibility, honesty, a long-term view, and life-long learning and wisdom.
Those values can be successfully adopted by organisations who want to "create an inspired and sustainable business".
That was the message to business people who went along to the Institute of Directors in London recently to meet a group of Maasai warriors at a masterclass on sustainable leadership and strategy.
