We have a VP of sales who has recently transferred to the UK from our US parent company. He has used a number of sales training programmes in the US and wants to bring them over to the UK, although the cost is prohibitive. I am getting serious pushback from our UK sales people who really don’t think this style of training would work, culturally – they do a lot more face-to-face sales here and the US is much more telephone / transaction-based – and I am reluctant to agree to using up my budget if it’s not going to work! Help!
