Henry V may be Hollywood’s idea of a charismatic leader, but you don’t have to make death-defying speeches or sit astride a war horse to be to be inspiring. Indeed, if you think that to be an effective leader you have to be the strong and aggressive type, you are entirely missing the point, namely that leadership is less about you trying to impress and more about how you help your people to turn up at work feeling inspired.
