JULIAN DABLE is the new regional manager for North EMEA at Trivantis, which provides tools and services for creating and managing e-learning content. He joins the company’s London office from Cognisco and prior to that, he helped deliver online assessment programmes to the US federal government. He also held a number of senior business development positions with American IT vendors, including Quantum Storage and Overland Storage.
Skills video production company Digital Training Videos (DTV), which launched last month, has appointed SEAN WALSH as its managing director. Walsh is a former deputy editor of current affairs at Anglia Television and deputy news editor at ITN. He has also held senior production positions with broadcasters including the BBC and CNBC, and has produced and presented the World Economic Forum’s internal TV channel.
JAMES RALPH has been made sales director of DTV, a new business skills video production company, where he will be responsible for introducing its products to corporations, public sector organisations, SMEs, individuals, academic institutions and industry membership bodies and associations. Ralph is a specialist in management and leadership development training.
Blended learning company REDTRAY has appointed a new e-learning development manager to head up its team of instructional designers and learning consultants. PAUL ROGERS offers expertise in rapid solutions. Mike Ditchburn, MD of REDTRAY’s e-learning division, said Rogers’ appointment was a “real coup” which would “substantially
add” to the company’s e-learning consultancy expertise.
Financial consultant DAVID PRISEMAN has been made a non-executive director of training company Cobent. Priseman runs the financial consultancy Hexagon Associates and has previously worked for Deutsche Bank and Banque Paribas. He will be advising the Cobent board on business strategy. “His appointment will help to drive our business forward,” said Cobent CEO Howard Sears.
Blended learning provider Academee has appointed STEPHEN KILLILEA as its new head of development and creative. Before joining the company, he was productions director at 3T Productions, where he developed bespoke e-learning and internet solutions. “My primary focus in this exciting role is on adding real value to Academee’s blended learning programmes through our e-learning, online learning applications and creative design solutions,” he said.
ANNETTE CAPPER has been promoted by TDG to the post of HR director, development; she was previously the London-based supply chain management company’s head of resourcing and learning and retains many of that role’s responsibilities. She joined TDG as recruitment manager in 2006 and said: “Growing our own leaders for the future and people retention are both massively important to our business. Our aim is to recruit people with potential, and to enable all employees to develop to the level they can.”
