Human capital management (HCM) is becoming more and more central to organisational success. In the face of an ageing workforce, increasing globalisation and a shortage of skills, being able to successfully manage employees’ skills and knowledge is vital.
People have historically been seen as a cost but their effective management is now being revealed as contributing to high performance.
Consequently, AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has launched a fund – Europe’s first – that actively takes account of a company’s track record in HCM when deciding which stocks to invest in.
