Matrix model doesn’t support employees

“What we have experienced in our training is that, for a matrix to be productive, roles, responsibilities, stakeholders and objectives must be clear. In addition, a matrix requires a mix of motivation, positive inner attitude, self-discipline and a proactive approach.”

That’s the view of international coaching and training consultancy Krauthammer, which has found that, although the matrix structural model has been adopted by the vast majority of the European organisations it works with, employees are left to navigate its complexity without proper support.
