More CPD needed by young managers

Employers are failing to address the dissatisfaction of their young managers and are facing a “mass haemorrhage” of future leaders looking for more fulfilling jobs as a result.
That’s according to Common Purpose, an independent international leadership organisation that last month published a report on the barriers preventing young, middle managers fulfilling their leadership potential.
Time for a Change? concluded that UK employers needed to provide their young managers with more continuing professional development (CPD) to increase their engagement and stop them leaving.
