On the day in November when the government was struggling to deal with the crisis over the loss of sensitive child benefit data, which the Times linked, in part, to organisational aftershocks caused by the merger of Customs and the Inland Revenue, it was timely that Whitehall and Westminster World had gathered together an audience of 200 in Westminster Hall.
The topic to be debated by a star-studded cast of civil servants, academics and consultants was ‘transformation, innovation and delivery’. There was no shortage of examples to chew over, and plenty of food for thought for the learning and development community too.
