Leading men and women in particular circumstances, such as during a war, is clearly a different story compared to the daily challenges our corporate leaders face – or is it?
“Teambuilding skills, honest communication, good judgement and care” are the key buildingblocks for good leadership, according to Major General Arthur Denaro.
The Major General acted as chief of staff of 44,000 troops from 31 different nations during the Balkans conflict. According to him, “some of the key principles of leadership fit any circumstances and help us all in whatever business, to meet the challenges... and then to enjoy overcoming them”.
