Twenty-two young Brits have won four medals and nine medallions of excellence at the WorldSkills 2007 competition in Japan.
Their score puts the UK just outside the world top ten – at number 11 – and fourth in Europe. This improves the UK’s position in the team league table by one place since the last WorldSkills event in 2005.
WorldSkills is the biggest skills-based competition in the world and is held every two years.
