Diversity isn’t the only thing that makes people different – their attitude to risk is also a differentiator. Both were up for discussion at the Talent Foundation last month.
At a breakfast seminar held at the Royal Automobile Club in central London, Peter Honey talked about diversity and the problems of getting organisations to value it. Caspar Berry, of the Mind Gym, then spoke about risk-taking and why we should be more prepared to embrace failure.
The “witty, challenging, thought-provoking” speakers were introduced by Talent Foundation chairman Bill Lucas, who added that the subject under discussion was “what it is to be talented in a diverse world”.
