Throughout the centuries, the month of September has seen some remarkable events: the crowning of Richard the Lionheart, the Great Fire of London, the capture of Geronimo, the release of Help by the Beatles, the landing of Viking 2 on Mars and – the release of PowerPoint version 1.0.
PowerPoint celebrated its 20th birthday last month and, after such a length of time, it is unfortunate that so many presenters don’t know how to get the best out of what is a simple and effective slide preparation tool. PowerPoint can be your best friend – if you can avoid turning your slides into a ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’.
