At any one moment during their work executive coaches have a vast array of interventions at their disposal. The key question for any coach is undoubtedly: “Which, of the whole range of things that I can do now, is the best for my coachee?” This question addresses the effectiveness of coaching.
Similar questions have been asked over a much longer period, and more rigorously in the field of psychotherapy. Are the answers that have been found there significant in relation to the effectiveness of coaching?
