TJ Awards 2011 - shortlisted finalists announced

Coordinated by TJ's director of research, Debbie Carter the awards are now in their sixth year and are growing steadily. Commenting on this year's applications Carter says : "I've been delighted with the response to the 2011 awards. Our submissions are up 41 per cent on last year with the biggest growth being in the customer service, large commercial, apprenticeship and L&D professional of the year categories.
"I know that those who didn't make the shortlist will be disappointed but they should remember how valuable the process of applying is to reflective practice. Simply applying for an award gives L&D professionals an opportunity to identify a piece of work and subject it to real scrutiny. Every application made must be viewed as an invaluable professional development exercise and should be applauded.
"My special congratulations are extended to all those who have been shortlisted this year and I look forward to meeting them at the interviews in September."
The awards will be presented at the TJ Awards' Gala Dinner on 17th November at 8 Northumberland, London.
