The Scottish Skills Conference will be held at the Barony Hall, Glasgow, on 30th November 2007. The speech from keynote speaker Baroness Henig of Lancaster will be on the subject: Learning Post Licensing – Towards a Competent Workforce.
This year's conference follows a successful event last year which offered an impressive line up of speakers, a training and qualifications based exhibition, and an opportunity to network with fellow professionals.
Linda Sharpe, Skills for Security Chief Executive said; “Naturally we are thrilled that Baroness Henig has accepted our invitation to speak and lend her expertise and support to our conference. By November, Scotland will be covered by SIA licensing and security practitioners will be looking for future direction. Our Scottish conference is now a key event in our calendar and we believe it will become increasingly central to taking the Scottish Skills Agenda forward.”
Further information can be found at the Skills for Security website, www.skillsforsecurity.org.uk from 1st May 2007.
