Leading professionals to speak at health e-learning event

The Health E-Learning conference at the British Medical Association on Thursday 26th April will showcase the best of e-learning within the health services. Four leading health professionals have been chosen as keynote speakers at the conference.
Dr Philip Candy, Director of Education, Training and Development, ETD programme, NHS Connecting for Health, will speak on the subject of "Learning to use Technology: Using Technology to Learn".
Rosa Lombardi, Learning and Development Manager at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust, will discuss implementation of the national Essential IT Skills (ECDL) and how her hospital plans to expand its future use.
E-learning specialist and board member of TACTICS (Training Assessment and Competency in Trent Intra-operative Cell Salvage), Laurence Wilson reveals how the NHS in Trent created bespoke online courseware to provide clinical training for theatre staff.
IT Systems Training Lead and IT Infrastructure Project Manager with Nuffield Hospitals, Dawn Loughran will set out how Nuffield have adopted e-learning to support an IT systems and equipment upgrade.
Health E-Learning is believed to be the first health sector event of its kind, and will offer a learning and networking opportunity for industry professionals.
