BP Retail UK’s managers are quick to satisfy their customers’ increasing demand for a broader range of goods at its 1,470 forecourt stores nationwide. This, however, creates an increasingly costly and complex training requirement for BP’s 4000 existing and new staff.
Training was previously delivered off-site, but will now be delivered as e-learning using the ThirdForce El-Box™, a portable, touch-screen PC-tablet pre-loaded with dedicated e-learning training and requiring no IT skills. Its inbuilt learner support, makes it accessible to all levels of ability, and it is ideal for multi-site operations.
Through e-learning the workforce will have access to a work-based e-learning solution which includes food safety, health and safety, numeracy, literacy, NCPLH (for alcohol licence holders) plus a custom fire safety, LPG and fuel retailers competent persons course. The training can be managed using an online training management system which provides an instant training and compliance record for all staff.
