The Charity Awards, which are organised by Charity Finance magazine, are now in their ninth year. The awards recognise excellence in the management of charities, while acknowledging the outstanding work and achievements of charities across the UK and the commitment of the people behind them.
This year, the Research, Advice and Support Award was sponsored by Ross-on-Wye based educational charitable organisation, The Leadership Trust.
The winner in this category was OSW (Off the Streets and into Work) for its three year, Tackling Multiple Disadvantage in London (TMD London) programme to support disadvantaged people and help them into work.
Runners up in the category were the Charities Evaluation Service and Thames Reach.
OSW’s CEO, Linda Butcher, said: “The award is a real acknowledgement of the positive impact that can be made when organisations and individuals work in true partnership with shared vision and commitment.”
