From 2009, organisations will be able to compete for a new Innovation in Training Services Award from the Institute of IT Training (IITT). Those organisations that compete for the award will have to show that they have developed new and innovative ways of engaging learners and fostering the concept of a learning organisation. They must also be able to demonstrate how they have used the latest developments in training technology and techniques to deliver learning.
Next year the IITT will hold its 13th annual awards ceremony at the Dorchester hotel on London’s Park Lane. The awards benchmark excellence in the IT training industry.
Edmund Monk, business development director at the IITT, said the new award will pay tribute to the very best in innovative learning methods and techniques.
He said: “We are delighted to be able to launch it for the awards in 2009. We believe this new award could attract unprecedented interest and we are excited about the new innovations that will be highlighted through the entries we receive. We look forward to celebrating with the winner of the Innovation in Training Services Award at the Dorchester in February 2009.”
