REDTRAY's 'Financial Management' blended learning programme for the HM Treasury has been short-listed for an e-learning Award. The nomination is in the category of 'Meeting the needs of compliance for an external regulator or an internal workforce'. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 8th November 2007 at the Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly, London.
Bob Woodland, CEO of REDTRAY says, "Our work with the HM Treasury has been a tremendous success and I'm delighted that the programme has been nominated for an e-learning award. These awards are an important part of promoting the growing success of the e-learning industry. It recognises best practice and excellence in a rapidly maturing market and demonstrates how companies can measure the economic benefits of high quality e-learning activities."
The submission from REDTRAY shows how an effective and stimulating blended learning programme on the topic of Core Financial Management Skills has achieved compliance, using the Department for Transport (DfT) as an example. The programme was spearheaded by the Head of the Government Finance Profession (part of HM Treasury) and the DfT used a highly successful top-down approach to inspire senior civil servants to voluntarily undertake the training.
The Awards are presented by e.learning age in association with The eLearning Network. www.elearningage.co.uk
